BoardKast app for iPhone and iPad

As longtime residents of the Hells Kitchen neighborhood in New York City, we wanted to build an app where we can all freely discuss relevant local topics and where we can just get to know each other better. BoardKast is the product of this effort to create a local online community. Here are some of the features that we have included in this first version:
•Public forums that anyone can create and anyone can join
•Private forums open only to invitation
•Private one-on-one messaging
•Ability to upload and share files and links
•Map with building units and their association with users

As our development team all live in the Worldwide Plaza on 50th street, we decided to roll out in this building first, with the hope of including more of our neighborhood buildings later. We look forward to hearing your feedback on our first version!
